Apriori Beauty Giveaway!

Several months back, I connected with Candy Dye (or rather @CandyDye!), a consultant for Apriori Beauty on Twitter. Her positive and uplifting attitude definitely shone through in her tweets as did her passion for the skin care line she represents.

Their skin care lines are all about defying the aging  process.  As a thirty-something, or never mind, I will just say it, as a 36 1/2 year old woman, my skin has recently become a big concern of mine.   This past year between the normal daily stresses along with my age, I have started to see more and more fine lines and wrinkles than ever before. Candy was kind enough to send me three products to try and I was extremely impressed with how they worked and felt on my skin.

The Creme Cleanser is the first I used and I found it to be extremely gentle and moisturizing.  My face feels very soft and smooth after using it and it was an especially great cleanser to use these past few months when the air was so dry. I loved being able to cleanse and not have that “tight” feeling afterwards because that always makes me feel like it will exaggerate my lines.

Believe it or not, since I have extremely sensitive skin, I have never used a specific eye cream because all the creams I have used in the past have stung and irritated my eyes. But I gave their Eye + Lip Age Eraser a try and can safely say this is the first eye cream that has not irritated my skin.  It is very gentle and deeply moisturizing.  I feel so much better knowing that all my little crow’s feet and upper lip are getting soaked in this cream overnight!

At night I use the Night Repair 3Deep moisturizer after cleansing and it is really luxurious.  I love a moisturizer that you can actually FEEL working on your skin and it made my skin feel so soft and smooth in the morning.

Seems like the more I read about the battle of the lines and wrinkles, the more it seems like a GOOD moisturizer is KEY!
