Irvine Park Railroad 2011 Christmas Train Giveaway!

It’s the season, once again for Irvine Park Railroad’s annual Christmas Train! Take your family and friends and hop aboard for an enchanting night ride through historic Irvine Regional Park to meet Santa Claus.

The train will depart every 15 minutes from the brightly-lit train station and drop passengers off at the North Pole. It truly is a totally magical event for the kids. I have tickets to give away, make sure to enter below!

Gobble Wobble Days and Holiday Happenings at Zoomars!

Now that we have flipped the calendar and all eyes are on turkeys this month, I wanted to share with you some fun holiday festivities going on at Zoomars Petting Zoo in San Juan Capistrano. Starting today through Thanksgiving Weekend, Zoomars turkey-rific Gooble Wobble Days are in full swing with even more fun holiday happenings in December. SOCO + the OC Mart Mix [Beyond Cool]

The OC Mart Mix was one of those OC finds I can’t believe it took me so long to discover. I have driven by the South Coast Collection (affectionately known here in Orange County as SOCO) a million times on the freeway but hadn’t actually gone until a couple weeks ago.

Now that I have explored it firsthand, I am telling everyone you HAVE TO GO!

Free Pumpkins at the Great Park Pumpkin Harvest + Food Drive

Kids and families are invited to celebrate the fall season at the fourth annual Great Park Pumpkin Harvest and food drive, Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This fall event is especially important in the fight against hunger. Visitors are encouraged to bring canned and non-perishable food items to the Great Park Pumpkin Harvest and food drive to help Second Harvest Food Bank and Community Action Partnership prepare for their busy Thanksgiving season helping families in need.

Camp Spooky at Knott’s Berry Farm

On Saturday my family and I had the opportunity to attend “Snoopy’s Costume Party” in Camp Spooky at Knott’s Berry Farm.

I hadn’t been to Knott’s Berry Farm since probably my sophomore year in high school, which was, um, quite some time ago so I was excited to visit again and take my girls for the first time.

During the weekends in October, Camp Snoopy, the area in Knott’s dedicated to rides for little ones, is transformed into Camp Spooky, a knott so scary way to celebrate Halloween!
