In case you were wondering how or where to recycle your Christmas tree this year, here is some info for you!
Many cities in OC have recycling through waste management, the cities covered can be found on their website. If you live in one of the cities, here are the details:
“We will collect and recycle Christmas trees for the first two weeks following Christmas on your regular collection day. Trees taller than six feet must be cut in half. Please remove all decoration including tinsel, lights, ornaments and tree stands. Place the tree at the curb. Flocked trees will be collected but cannot be recycled. “
If your city does not collect the trees for recycling, visit Earth 911 for a recycling location near you!
