Dream Come True Entertainment: Princess Characters for Parties [+ Giveaway!]

A few months back a friend asked me for a referral for an Orange County company with princess characters for her daughter’s 4th birthday party. I didn’t have one, so I reached out to my Tiny Oranges facebook friends, which is how we found Dream Come True Entertainment, a company which provides fairytale characters for children’s parties in OC and LA.

Both my girls went to this dress up princess party, and about a half hour into the festivities there was a knock at the door and RAPUNZEL was standing there sparkling. You should have seen the look on the girls’ faces! PURE magic!

Rapunzel was absolutely FABULOUS! Completely engaging, enchanting and kept the party moving from one fun princess activity to the next.  My girls had the greatest time ever.

I spoke with the owner, Princess Megan, for a long time after the party to learn more about her company to share in this post.

With a passion for creating a larger than life experience for the girls, all the high quality costumes are custom made for each princess to be as authentic as possible and she believes in strict attention to detail, right down to the make-up and wigs.

I also learned that all the princesses at Dream Come True Entertainment have a background in performing and musical theater. This was certainly evident in the Rapunzel I saw, not only was she beautiful and believable, but then she opened her mouth to sing and she sounded like an angel.

Their princess party packages can be booked for 1, 1.5 or 2 hours and pricing starts at $175 for the one-hour party. I thought this was so reasonable for the entertainment they provide.

Being a mom herself, she knows the importance of keeping the party moving along, so the princesses are well-skilled at knowing when to change it up and move on to the next activity. Based on the ages, they will prioritize activities and know what works best, and their parties consist of a mix of:

* Princess Sing-a-long * Magic Show * Storytelling * Parachute Games * Puppet Time * Face Painting * Princess Dancing *
* Animal Balloons * Photos with the Princess * Singing Happy Birthday (of course!)

A Princess Party is an AWESOME idea for months when there is a chance of inclement weather because the princess can preform anywhere, even in small spaces, so it is a great option to be able to keep kiddos entertained indoors. But I think I will be booking Snow White this summer for Morgan’s 3rd birthday, so really, the season doesn’t matter after all!

And as a bonus, the princess will set up a “Princess Phone Date” prior to the party where the princess will call the birthday girl and talk to her to tell her she is coming!  Imagine your little one sitting at the breakfast table in jammies and getting a call from Snow White!  How CUTE is that?!

  34. My daughter would freak out if Ariel showed up!!! She has been telling me for her birthday she wants an Ariel Cake for her 3rd birthday.

  44. My Niece adores Ariel at the age of 2 she was introduced to the Ariel ride at Disneyland. As her 3rd Birthday approaches the anticipation and thought of an Ariel cake puts the biggest smile on her face. You know the smile that lights up the whole room and everyone around you.

  47. Ariel!!! She is currently my daughters favorite followed closely by rapunzel, snow white, and Cinderella. What a cute idea.

  66. We would love to have Rapunzel come! Abby is turning 6 in February and would be so thrilled to have such a special party!

  71. My daughter is turning 3 and she idolizes Ariel. Since she was 6 months old she has fallen in love with her and has never looked back. It would be awesome for Ariel to be there.
