The tradition of Santa photos with small kids cracks me up. Have you ever thought how funny the whole thing is? Here we take a baby or small child and put them on a strange man’s lap wearing a weird red jumpsuit and huge white beard, and expect them to look pleased while we say “SMILE!!!”
And I love the photos that show exactly what kids think of this whole Santa photo business.

Funny Santa Photo Contest
1. Email your funny photo (one photo submission per family please) to santa@tinyoranges.com. Please include a couple sentences describing the scenario. Emails must be received by 11:59pm PST on Monday, 12/10/12.
2.Susanne and I will judge the photos that tickle our funny bones the most and will select three “winners.” Of course, we will love ALL of your photos, but we will have to narrow it down and choose 3 for posting. Winners will be notified via email Tuesday, 12/11/12 and winning photos will be posted on our blog on Wednesday, 12/12/12.
3. First place prize is 6 tickets to the Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train and 6 Activity Tickets! Second place will receive 4 tickets to Pretend City Children’s Museum and third place will receive a $10 Target gift card.
