  1. Living on the opposite side of the country as my family, is extremely hard. I worry that my daughters may grow up without really knowing their cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. My life rule would be that once a month, we get to travel (or they travel here) to see some family!

  2. I would re-write the rule that says we can’t always be crazy. I think if we had more time to act silly and get our wiggles out, we’d all be a lot happier.

  3. The rule we would rewrite would be to: Live a more simple life. That’s what we are trying to do now….de-cluttering, donating. Enjoy more simple fun things like family, beach, camping, hiking, having fun 🙂

  4. The new rule I would write would be to spend more time playing and less time working. More fun time together is great for the kids and great for all of us!

  5. The rule I would write would be that you have to compliment another person or do something kind to another person at least 5 times a day. Talk about filling some buckets!

  6. live life by the golden rule…treat others like you want to be treated! how fun would everyday be?!

  7. I would get one ‘take back’. One re-do of one major life decision I have made. I know this is tempting fate and would change everything that has happen thereafter, but there are a few decisions in life I would like to have made differently.

  8. The rule I’d rewrite would be instead of getting a job right after graduating from college, I would have traveled. As you get a job, and live your life day in and day out, traveling becomes secondary, and I think traveling should be a priority (if you can financially do it). There is so much to see in this world, even just in this country. Such a variety of wonderful things out there.

  9. I would create a rule that mandates I have to learn one new skill a year…this year I want to learn how to ski! fingers crossed!

  10. My new rule would be to allow my children to express their feelings good and bad. Also to give more compliments each other 🙂

  11. I’d love to see more people with paid vacation time. Family trips are great experiences but too often people don;t have the time or finances to swing it
