My family was in San Diego before Christmas and for the second year in a row, I took my oldest ice skating at the Skating by the Sea event at the Hotel Del Coronado.
The Hotel Del grounds in itself make for a tremendous day trip.
It is simply majestic and the surrounding beaches are really breathtaking.
Looking out at the ocean and then at the Hotel Del as we went around the rink is one memory I will never forget!
