Hi ladies! Since Valentine’s Day is coming up, I was hoping to hear some ideas on things you do to celebrate with your kiddos! Do you have any fun traditions or things you do that are special? Post a comment here and share!
Growing up, my mom would leave us a Russell Stover’s heart shaped box of chocolates on our dresser on Valentine’s Day morning. It is one of those memories that makes me smile, and she continued to leave us little Valentine treats on our dresser even through high school. Isn’t it funny how the littlest things can have so much meaning?
I make a valentine chair backer to fill with little goodies. I also like to make heart pancakes for breakfast!
Love the heart pancakes idea!!!! I will have to do that this year…thanks for sharing!
I don’t have children of my own yet, but for my husband, I am making breakfast in bed, and I am making him eggs in heart shape with a cookie cutter.
Tara’s pancake idea sounds great too!
We are hosting a Valentine party for all our little friends (& their Mommies) the day before (Friday). We will decorate cupcakes, have heart crafts and … a good ol’ fashioned valentine card exchange. My kids will awake to Valentine treats on the kitchen table Saturday morning. 🙂
