Wordless Wednesday: Heaven at the Montage Beverly Hills

So my two best girlfriends from college and I now have 7 kids between us.  Last summer when I had a newborn, we took a vow that when all three of us were collectively not pregnant or nursing (as one or more of us have been over the past 8 years) we would do a one night getaway with just us girls!

That dream came to fruition last month, where for a blissful 27 hours, we were able to talk uninterrupted, not get anyone a snack but ourselves, and drink a glass of wine on a rooftop pool with this view at the Montage Beverly Hills. This pic above was taken with my iPhone.  Glass of wine in one hand, iPhone in the other.

Heaven isn’t even the word.

The place is off the charts.

In the hub of Los Angeles, walking distance from fabulous stores and restaurants, yet when we were on that rooftop deck looking at the (I think) Hollywood Hills, we could have been in another world.

And the mommies were in a very happy place.
